need some etiquette advice
There is a dog that lives kiddycorner to us that barks, literally, all day long. A whiny, sharp bark. I've watched him, he also jumps up and on his owners sliding glass door. Its sad really. I don't know these people or anything, but I would love some ideas on ways I can address this issue.

ask ellen. she's had experience with barky neighbor dogs. and congrats on finishing harry. such fun.
Just call the police with a noise complaint. That way the neighbors don't get mad at you and you can start off on good ground. Make the po-po the bad guys. If you do it once or twice, they'll get the message.
I'm afraid that my advice will not be filled with etiquette or be politically correct in this "we love animals more than people world"

I vote for the po po or an anonymous note on the front door. If the note doesn't work, go to the police for sure.
